Research goals:

Advancement of quantitative analytical imaging methods that provide insight into pathophysiological processes with the aims of

  • early detection of diseases
  • long-term prediction of disease outcome
  • sensitive monitoring of disease progression and response to treatment

Research foci:

Molecular, cellular, and functional imaging: preclinical targeted imaging of tumors and metastases, of inflammatory processes and skeletal metabolism based on:

  • High resolution ultrasound
  • Micro-CT
